Keeping up with exercise daily can be a tedious task.  Healthy living means having a healthy body that you can be proud of. If you cannot join a gym, there a simple yet effective exercises that you can do in your own time.  No treadmill? No problem, a morning run or a brisk walk can energize you throughout the day. For those winter months there is much that you can do indoors. I found that DVD's with high impact aerobics can provide a good workout.  Even doing some household chores such as vacuuming, dusting, washing or even playing with the kids keeps you moving which helps you burn some calories.
Remember that when trying to lose weight exercise and diet goes hand in hand. Are you exercising and not losing weight?  You might want to evaluate your food intake. If you are indulging in not so healthy snacks then don't expect the scale to go down in a hurry.
Do not underestimate the power of exercise.  It is a powerful way to keep you fit, toned and energized.  It should be an important part of your life.
